Well,
Hungry Ghost Festival falls on 12 August of this year (last Friday) and we are no exception in DS Maju family, all of the staffs regardless of race or religion,
everyone folds the joss paper, assists with the preparations for the worship of and 'good brothers' ---
the lonely ghosts on the roadside to pray for a good year for the whole family and a prosperous business to a deceased relative or ancestor.
On the 15th day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar, the Chinese community or Taoist believers will worship our ancestors and ghosts from the underworld.
During the Hungry Ghost Festival, we not only continued the fine traditions and virtues of the Chinese
but also hope that friendship from all walks of life will flourish.
Once again we have demonstrated the spirit of togetherness in DS Maju family's collectively.
Let’s shout out loud together:
“HENG ONG HUAT ahhhh!!!”
