"THE LORD MUSANG KING", the first Malay action movie is a Malaysia - Korean collaboration in film industry film has kicked off on August 2022.
We are honoured to be one of the sponsors for this blockbuster movie, to provide more than 10 cars for the filming.
Our managing director, Steven Ng was invited to the press conference for the pre-launch of the movie early this month.
at Park 28 Restaurant in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya on 5 August, 2022.
With the cost of RM2.5 million, with dialogue in Malay, English and Korean, this movie was produced by Hundred Years Popcorn Production, with Ong Peng Chu as executive producer, Datuk Seri Zaienal Abidin Omar as co-executive producer, actor Eddie Chow as producer, and South Korea's Lee Moon Ho as director.
After two years of preparation, "THE LORD MUSANG KING" will finally started a month-long filming in Kuala Lumpur and set for release in June 2023, features an extensive cast and crew from both countries, including China.
The cast comprises Yusuf Bahrin, Harissa, Fimie Don, Azri Sabri, Hafizuddin Fadzil, Eddie Chow and Jay Iswazir from Malaysia as well as Kim Bo Yeon and Kwak Dong Hyuk from South Korea, among others.
It is hoped that Malaysians can give a strong support to local films and hope it will be grossing a fantastic box office when its release next year. Hopefully it will also can inspired the local filmmakers.

The Lord Musang King tells the story of Haikal, the son of a successful fruit farmer Samad (played by Hafizuddin) who has been framed and jailed for a crime he did not commit. His father strikes a deal with a South Korean businessman Jin ( played by Chow), and promises to buy over his company in exchange for helping to get Haikal out of jail. Unfortunately, Samad is killed before the deal is made, and the now released Haikal cooperates with the police to bring Jin to justice.
